Shahbaz Sharif Ordered to complete Bhasha Dam Project in 2026 instead of 2029;
The new Prime Minister of the country Shahbaz Sharif took over the throne of the country and began to review the current situation of the country along with the political affairs. There was a big problem of dams in the situation of the country. In this regard, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif also gave a speech while visiting Bhasha Dam.
Benefits to Pakistan by Bhasha Dam Project:
In his speach he gave some briefing regarding Bhasha Dam and said that Bhasha Dam is going to provide electricity, water and very good facilities in almost all areas of Peshawar in Pakistan. Which was promised to be completed by the previous government in the year 2029. But in this government we will complete it in the year 2029. For which they have also planned to make further investment – so that the people can be provided facilities by constructing this dam as soon as possible.
Expressing his happiness, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that he was happy to discuss the development project of this dam on this morning of Ramadan and he did not want to disturb the people who came with him during the days of Ramadan. Yes, but it is our duty to do it well.
Expressing further happiness, he said that he was proud that this project of Bhasha Dam was carried out in the year 2016 by my brother former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif. Which was brought to this place today with the passage of time. Today it is about to reach its completion by doubling the day and quadrupling the night.
Shahbaz Sharif Message to Wapda General:
Referring to General WAPDA Muzammil, he said, “I have not spent much time with him, but I hope he is doing his job well.” And we will complete the project as soon as possible.
He also looked at the economic situation of the country and said that with the economic crisis of the country and climate change we will have to face many more challenges. But it is necessary for the future of Pakistan and he also appreciated the International Fund Collection Scheme and said that it would give priority to the construction of the dam.
He further told WAPDA General that whatever your expectations are from our federal government, we will try our best to meet them. But there should be no delay in this project. He also praised the Chinese and FWA companies for their professionalism and ability to work together.
Bhasha Dam Project in 2026 :
He tried to persuade General WAPDA on the basis of modern technology that the Bhasha Dam project should be completed in 2026 instead of 2029.
He clarified that there is no such thing in the world which That could not be It takes courage and dedication to do everything. What seems to me to be the case is that you can and will do it.
