MQM-P Formally Announced On Joining Opposition Ranks Of No-Trust Vote Againts PM Imran

MQM-P Broke Up With Pm Imran Khan

In a report published on Wednesday, the MQM-P, a longstanding supporter of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led coalition government, said that it will join the opposition ahead of a vote of no-confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan scheduled for Thursday.

If the present situation continues, it is very certain that Prime Minister Imran Khan would lose his majority in the National Assembly with the backing of the MQM-P in the unified opposition, which is planned to take place on April 3, if the current situation continues.

Proclamation Of MQM-P Chairaman

The proclamation was made on behalf of the MQM-P by its chairman, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, during a press conference in Islamabad alongside leaders of the united opposition.

I can’t think of a more appropriate moment for us to get together. “This is a challenge for the national leadership,” said Siddiqui, rather than just expressing his congratulations. As a day of prayer, today represents the culmination of many people’s aspirations and goals, which have been realised. It is my belief that this time we will be able to [strive for] democracy that will benefit the common Pakistani citizen.

These are the expectations that we have as we begin on this journey as a group. Neither individually nor politically, there are no benefits for any of us. Every element of our agreement is designed for the general population of Pakistan, as well as the areas in which we have been working for the last 35 years, and no provision is intended for any particular group of people. “In cases where we believe immediate action is essential.”

As a result, we have prioritised the national interest of Pakistan before our individual interests.

Shahbaz Sharif Statement

Today is a historic day in Pakistani history because a combined opposition, a national opposition, has come together and attempts have been made to bring the country together,” opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif said. “Today is a historic day in the history of Pakistan.”

The MQM-P and its workers are to be commended for taking into consideration the ambitions of Pakistan’s 220 million residents and adopting this decision in the first place.

In this conversation process, I am appreciative to Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto for keeping the past out of it. They have begun their journey with the hope of bringing wealth to Pakistan and pleasure to Karachi.”

According to the PML-leader, N’s this agreement will be carried out “in letter and spirit.

Tomorrow will be a vote on the Prime Minister’s majority in the House of Parliaments: Bilawal States

PPP leader Bilawal also expressed gratitude to the MQM-P, saying that joining forces with the opposition was “historic.”

It is important to emphasise that the relationship between the PPP and the MQM-working P has nothing to do with the no-confidence vote “he said. As he put it, “If we want Karachi and Pakistan to thrive, we have to work together under all circumstances.

It’s official: Imran Khan’s majority in the National Assembly has been halved. He is no longer in the post of prime minister of the United Kingdom. The commencement of the legislative session is set for tomorrow. This matter should be settled by a vote that takes place the next day. After that, we can begin the process of restoring democracy and putting an end to the economic crisis “he explains.

According to Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema I Islam Fazl (JUI-F), the MQM-decision P’s are a slap in the face to the Muslim community “is a declaration of national solidarity for the cities of Karachi and Sindh, as well as for the whole country of Pakistan

Following these acts (government allies joining the opposition), we now have 175 members in the National Assembly instead of the 172 members we need “he said.

The MQM-Siddiqui P’s then signed two agreements, one with Bilawal over pledges relating to Sindh and another with PML-Ahsan N’s Iqbal over obligations relating to the federation, immediately after the official announcement.

The opposition parties have achieved an agreement with the MQM-coordination P’s committee

The declaration was made after the MQM-coordination P’s committee ratified an agreement agreed with the opposition on a no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier in the day. Prime Minister Imran Khan was defeated in the vote.

Nasreen Jalil, the head of the MQM-P, confirmed the news to the media from the party’s Bahadurabad markaz.

Details of the agreement will be revealed during a press conference scheduled at 4 p.m.,’ she added. On Tuesday, the party is expected to conduct a press conference at which they’ll formally proclaim their rupture with the government and vote in favour of a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Farogh Naseem and Aminul Haque, leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Pakistan, have resigned from Prime Minister Imran Khan’s administration.

According to a copy of Naseem’s resignation letter, which was released on Dawn.com, the MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui had told him to resign from his position as federal minister for law.

Mr. Haque, the minister of information technology and telecommunications, said in his letter of resignation that he felt “limited by my party’s policies as a responsible worker” while serving in the government of Pakistan.

Because of the conduct of my political party, the MQM, I have resigned from my position as federal minister for information technology and telecommunications. P’s I humbly implore you (the prime minister) to please comply.

He expressed his “pride in carrying out my responsibilities honestly.

Shortly after, he expressed the same attitude in a video message that was shared on social media sites.

“The MQM-leader, P’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, called a meeting of the party’s coordination committee to approve the agreement reached with the opposition and the resignation of the ministers in question. We will begin a new chapter in our efforts to promote the economic development of urban Sindh in the near future.” This was stated by Haque in a later video message that he delivered.

The same was verified by Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

An agreement has been struck between the unified opposition and the MQM. The accord will be ratified by the Rabta committee MQM and the PPP CEC. We will then have a news conference the following day to share further information with the public. Pakistan, you have earned it “he said.

The united opposition and MQM have reached an agreement. Rabta committee MQM & PPP CEC will ratify said agreement. We will then share details with the media in a press conference tomorrow IA. Congratulations Pakistan.

MQM-P Late Night Meeting With Oppoition On Tuesday

There was quite a stir in the city on Tuesday night when the ruling party had a late-night meeting with opposition leaders, and many people were excitedly monitoring their televisions for updates.

Early in the morning, an opposition group led by Khawaja Asif, Sherry Rehman, Naveed Qalmar, Ayaz Sadiq Akhtar Mengal, and others arrived to Parliament Lodges, where they met with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other members of the government.

During a meeting with them on Tuesday night and into the early hours of Wednesday morning, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the MQM’s convener, and other officials were there.

The primary opposition group, which comprised Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal, as well as Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Shehbaz Sharif, made an effort to persuade the government’s ally to shift his allegiance.

Despite the opposition’s best efforts, the MQM-P said that their pick will be made public the next day, at a time when the opposition was seeking to force the party to make an announcement.

MQM-P Senator Faisal Subzwari sent a tweet early on Wednesday morning saying that an agreement had been struck between his party and the opposition.

He went on to say that the arrangement will be ratified by the PPP’s central executive committee and the MQM’s coordinating P’s committee, and that the details would be revealed during a press conference at 4 p.m. today.

PPP and MQM-P leaders discussed a potential agreement on Sindh’s administrative and local government matters in the presence of the parties’ senior executives, according to sources who were present at the meeting.

One credible source claims that not only does the PPP support the deal, but also all other political parties. If the agreement is approved by the coordination committee, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Shehbaz would see to it that it is carried out.

A no-trust vote slated for April 3 will decide whether PM Imran’s government survives or not. The MQM-P, a key partner of the PTI (which has seven members in the National Assembly), will be the deciding factor in whether or not PM Imran’s administration survives.

On Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan approved Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s nomination as the PTI’s candidate for Punjab chief minister in exchange for the PML-support Q’s for the embattled leader. Usman Buzdar had offered his resignation to the prime minister earlier in the day.

In addition, the PTI government is reliant on the PML-Q, which has 10 seats in Punjab and five seats in the federal parliament, to maintain power. As a result of Chaudhry’s support for Imran Khan, the chances for his administration have improved.

There were only 169 members who backed the opposition alliance without the backing of the MQM, which was only three votes shy of the 172 votes necessary to depose Imran Khan as prime minister and bring in a new government.

Leaders of the MQM-P met with the governor of Sindh

Meanwhile, a government delegation met with members of the MQM-P last night at Parliament Lodges in an effort to dissuade the party from joining the opposition coalition.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said to the media that Khlid Maqbool Siddiqui and his family had received a message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “An announcement is likely to be made in the early hours of Wednesday morning,” the team said.

According to Ismail, the government’s attempts to address the concerns of the party had been successful. “We had previously offered them a job in one of our ministries […]. When they ask for more, we will provide it to them regardless of the circumstances.”

He went on to say that the government’s doors and hearts were wide open for the party to come in. “We will make adjustments in whichever manner they choose.”

However, it seemed that the administration was not through with its negotiations with the MQM-P at this point. The PTI’s Faisal Vawda said in a tweet on Wednesday that he had returned to Islamabad from Karachi as a result of the prime minister’s instructions.

Along with Pervez Khattak and Imran Ismail, he would be a member of the government delegation for discussions with the MQM delegation, according to the minister of state for foreign affairs.
