FM Qureshi Stated At Beijing That China Will Always Be the Ally Of Pakistan

FM Qureshi News Conference 

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, said at a news conference on Wednesday that China has reaffirmed its commitment to Pakistan as a long-standing ally.

Qureshi arrived in China on Tuesday for the third round of consultations with the group known as the ‘Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan’s Neighboring Countries.

Following today’s one-on-one meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi made the news via video message.

Bond Between Pakistan and China

After more than a decade, Pakistan’s $4.2 billion debt came due for repayment, resulting in significant financial relief.

Chinese officials have also pledged to help the nation in coping with the global fuel crisis, according to him.

Following the Organization of Islamic Corporation’s request for calm negotiations in the Russia-Ukraine dispute, Chinese authorities praised the statement as well, according to the Chinese Foreign Minister.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the One China Policy and to the fundamental interests of the Chinese people, according to a statement published by the country’s Foreign Office.

Talks About CPEC and Afghanistan 

Both Foreign Ministers also agreed on the need of CPEC Phase 2 quality development as well as bilateral partnership in industries including as agriculture and information technology, among other things.

FM Qureshi Metting With Chinese FM

International Plan Against PM Imran

Following Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s charge that a “international plan” is being created to topple his government because of the country’s “independent foreign policy,” he made his remarks.

Third Meeting of Foreign Miniter’s

He and his delegation arrived in China on Tuesday in preparation for the third meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighbours, which will take place in Beijing on Wednesday.

His words were corroborated by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, which said that Islamabad was committed to the “One China” policy and would continue to serve Beijing’s fundamental interests in any manner that was feasible going forward.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation-OIC, Qureshi added, made it clear to Wang during their talk that the organisation is prepared to help in the facilitation of a diplomatic solution to the current crisis in Ukraine.

Fm Qureshi Statement 

China, according to Qureshi, has pledged to extend Pakistan’s debt as well as to provide assistance if the country suffers from energy shortages as a result of the Ukraine crisis.

In Moscow, he was joined by his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, and Iran’s top diplomat, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who also met with Pakistan’s foreign minister.
