Foreign Conspiracy Letter to CJP
PM Imran Khan is prepared to share a letter with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial, according to federal minister Asad Umar, who claimed the letter contained evidence of a “foreign-funded plan” to overthrow his government during a rally organised by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PTI) on March 27.
Fawad Chaudhary Quotes
During a joint press conference with Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry in Islamabad, Minister for Planning and Development Umar claimed that he had received the letter and that the “prime minister is ready… he believes we can share with the top justice of the Supreme Court.”
“For obvious reasons, it is one of the most prestigious posts in Pakistan’s judiciary and is held in high regard by the public. It is well known that the chief justice has an excellent personal and professional reputation. The prime minister said that he is willing to deliver the letter to the chief justice of the Supreme Court on behalf of the government and the people if that is what is necessary.” According to the minister, the letter was drafted before the no-confidence resolution in the government was introduced in the National Assembly.
“This is a very troubling development, and it is critical to note that the no-confidence resolution is explicitly mentioned in this letter. There is no doubt that a vote of no confidence is being discussed at this time.”
The letter further claimed that if Imran Khan were to continue as prime minister, it would have “horrific repercussions,” according to Umar.
Umar alluded to requests for the letter’s contents to be shared without identifying anybody or making any obvious reference to opposition leaders in his remarks.
“They are questioning why we are able to share the letter with them,” he said, adding that “national secrets are very delicate in nature, and there are specific restrictions on who can and cannot be informed about them.”
Afterwards, Umar asserted that the letter was a “fact,” and he admitted that he had seen it himself. “I stand as a witness to it,” Asad Umer Claims.
Umar told reporters on Tuesday that questions were being raised about the “letter” Khan mentioned during his speech at the Parade Ground in Islamabad on Sunday, which he claimed contained evidence of a foreign conspiracy against him. Umar was joined by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, who said that questions were being raised about the “letter.”
Umar said that the prime minister had considered on the topic and had chosen to share the letter with the chief justice if the need arose. He also stated that the chief judge is a “well-respected” and “credible” person.
“The prime minister said that he is prepared to send the letter to the chief judge of the Supreme Court on the nation’s behalf, if required, and to ensure the satisfaction of the people,” Umar added.
He said that the letter had only been shared with a few members of the civil-military leadership because of its “sensitivity” and “importance.”
He went on to say that the letter was written before the no-confidence motion was filed, which he described as “a source of worry.”
There was also a warning in the letter that if Prime Minister Khan continued in office, “horrific repercussions” would follow.”
PM Imran Addressing On Sunday
According to Khan’s address on Sunday, continuous attempts to push his political party and destabilise the government are being supported by foreign powers seeking to influence the country’s foreign policy, and he has accused them of doing so.
“We just found out about it [the foreign plot] a few months ago… “
“If there is any dispute, I can show him the letter, but it would be off the record,” the prime minister had previously said.
Is the US-led Western attempting to depose the PTI government?
The sources from which efforts are being made to put pressure on us are known to us… “We have been threatened in writing, but we will not compromise on matters of national importance under any circumstances,” he stated.
At a subsequent news conference, Umar, when pressed by reporters for further information about the letter’s provenance or other facts, refused to provide any more information.
What is this Letter About?
Umar said that the letter was written before the no-confidence resolution in the National Assembly was submitted.
Furthermore, the wording of the letter, according to the minister, referred to the departure of Prime Minister Imran as a “positive outcome.”
He went on to say that the “threat” that Prime Minister Imran Khan mentioned in relation to the letter during his speech on March 27 “is directly tied to the no-confidence vote.”
PM Imran had mentioned the following during his speech: “Efforts are being undertaken to alter the government in Pakistan with the assistance of foreign funds. Our folks are being taken advantage of. Some individuals are using money against us, most of the time unwittingly, but there are exceptions. We are aware of the sources from which efforts are being made to exert pressure on us. We have been threatened in writing, but we will not back down from our position of national importance.”
Following in a similar vein, Umar said today that the letter also included information on Pakistan’s foreign strategy.
“The foreign hand [engaged in overthrowing the PTI administration] and the no-confidence motion are thus clearly related, as is shown above. These are not two distinct things, and there is an obvious relationship between them, as we will see “He went on to say more.
Umar said that owing to legal restrictions, the whole contents of the letter could not be made public.
The previous prime minister Liaquat Ali Khan was assassinated, and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged. General Ziaul Haq died in an aircraft accident, and Chaudhry spoke about these and other events when it was his time to speak.
As a result, he said, this was not the first time that such moves to depose a prime minister have been attempted in the nation.
“And Imran Khan is a leader who does not accept phone calls from people in other countries… He has been cautioned in this letter of the ramifications of continuing to conduct political affairs in this way “Chaudhry made a statement.
Nawaz Sharif Involvement in Toppling PTI Govt
Former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif was named as one of the “characters” included in the letter that revealed the plot to depose the PTI government, according to the minister.
Pakistan’s prime minister, Imran Khan, has said that Nawaz Sharif is now in London, where he is participating in meetings, and that the details of these discussions would be made public if and when it becomes essential. “As a result of these conversations, we are seeing a conclusion in the form of the no-confidence vote,” he said.
PDM Spokeperson
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Democratic Movement-PDM said it was also brought to their attention that the letter’s relation to a no-confidence vote was known to the organization’s highest leadership.
During their discussions with MNAs and members of the media, “all has been settled,” the minister said. “Therefore, they are well aware of how it connects to the no-trust motion.“
His assessment is as follows: “I believe that the great majority of MPs, both in the opposition and in the National Assembly, are completely unaware of the extra elements driving this no-confidence motion.”
As a result, Umar said that he is “convinced that they would not engage in a move that is dangerous to the country and as a result of which Pakistan’s sovereignty and independence are degraded.” “They had no clue what was going on until this moment. Due to the fact that they have been made aware of these facts, I am certain that they will now make decisions based on the information provided.”
Final Verdict
According to Chaudhry, the letter was not made available to any media outlets. Anyone who claims to hold the letter, he said, is deceiving the public.
